Another awesome story from F. J. Atkinson! While definitely not a book for children it is a riveting read and will keep you turning pages until you suddenly find that it has ended all too soon. Great read, full of historical accuracy, of brave men and women struggling, admits the savagery entailed with barbaric ethnic cleansings
Another great read by this Author. I am looking forward to being able to read other books in the near future.
Fourth boom in this series, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Gives a really good insight into Brittania and its various tribes, during the fifth century, another great page turner, couldn't put it down
I also bought the previous three books as a trilogy (together in one book) AFTER buying each seperately.
I had thought it was a wholly seperate tale, the way it was advertised. I basicLly was tricked out of a few bucks.
Read the descriptions carefully before buying from this series.
This is not historical but pure fiction.. Nevertheless, it is a fast paced and very readable story. It is an excellent investment in time and money.

Exciting. Characters are strong and likeable, some even loveable. You just want to hang out with them and help them when things go wrong. This is the 4th Dominic book and I hope there are many more. F J Atkinson is an excellent writer of historical fiction. It is written as factual not as a fairy tail. All the books are real page turners. I couldn't put them down once I got started.
